PunkTiger: Live at Anthrocon 2001! That's right! PunkTiger made his real-life debut in the Masquerade at Anthrocon 2001 (much to the fursuiter's delight). Clutching his "Air Guitar" and sporting his very stylish "Class Menagerie" t-shirt, Punk took the stage as the third act in the show. (Woo-hoo!) He was unfamiliar with the stage, had never performed in fursuit before a large crowd, and was suffering from, as he described it, "Montezuma, his extended family, a number of his close friends, the rest of his tribe, as well as everyone else from the 5 neighbouring tribes (for good measure) all putting their Revenge on me... in SPADES!" Despite that, he managed to get the crowd roused with his antics and clapping along with his choice of music (a very slightly remixed version of the 1982 single by the Toy Dolls, "Nellie the Elephant" ). Looking back, he apologizes that he wasn't just a little more friendly to the crowd as he left the stage. But, considering his condition, Of course, Punk didn't know anyone in the audience at the time to take more personal pictures with his new whiz-bang Kodak DC3400 Digital Camera (the fursuiter needs more friends). So, I present to you pictures taken by other (more well-connected) people at the Masquerade and elsewhere (Punk also needs to make more general appearences at these conventions).
